We’ve made a few small changes this weekend.

1) The ‘Owner’ link in the Creature Inspector now links directly to the farm on which the creature lives.

2) Creatures will now recover gradually from breeding sickness, instead of suddenly recovering all at once.

3) Look for an interesting new trait in newly laid Beaklings…

We are deploying the update to Flash Player 9 today, so if you still haven’t updated, now is the time!

Also, a few people have already reported some funny stuff – like accessories being the wrong size, or certain creatures not appearing. If you have any problems today, please post them directly to my farm.

Dear farmers,

In the next week or so, creaturebreeder.com will begin to require Flash Player 9. Our statistics show that only about 1% of users are using a version older than 9, so most people don’t have to do anything. If you are part of the 1% using Flash 8 or Flash 7, please upgrade :)

Dear farmers,

We’ve been doing some work to speed the site up, optimizing certain parts of the code, and as a result you may notice some funny fluctuations in creature health.

If you see a creature that was healthy, but now is suddenly sick, please be assured that these effects are only temporary :)

Dear farmers,

A little update tonight. You may have noticed that the links to favorite farms are colored differently base on how recently your friends have logged in. There is now a new level of brightness that indicates whether a user has done something in during the last 10 minutes. Sort of like an “I’m online now indicator.”
