The trading system is coming soon! I wanted to let you know that we will be getting rid of all remaining purchase, gift, and breeding proposals THIS MONDAY. That means you should please finish up all your trading and gifts before monday! Once the trading system is released, you will be able to breed and offer and purchase just like before — or in lots of new ways! (One thing we are very excited about is the ability to include entire farms in trades. )

Just to give you an idea of what’s coming soon on CreatureBreeder: we’ve been looking at the problem of trades, and how to make buying, selling, and trading more safe. The trading system will allow you to exchange creatures, accessories, farms(!) and breeding rights — all without worrying about someone not playing fair.

As you know, we’ve been working with our partners to produce the first ever 8” CreatureBreeder plushie toy…and it’s almost ready! We wanted to share a couple details as we get ready for the launch.

• We will be offering the toys for pre-order. Once 300 pre-orders have been received, the toy will go into production. The first batch of toys should be ready around the holiday season.

• We’re excited to announce that we’ll be bundling exclusive farm accessories with each purchase of a plushie! So you’ll have something to show off in your farm : ) Stay tuned to see what the bonus gifts will be…

• As this is our first toy release, we’re very curious to see how it goes! If it goes well, we’re excited to move on to new toys, including Brumble Bears, Fairy Frogs…even resin blanks (4") where you guys can customize your own and show it off ; )

• The toy will initially be available for credit card payment only. Sorry, no paypal yet.

Honestly, after all this time working on CreatureBreeder, we can’t wait to get our own FuzCubs in real life. It’s really amazing!
