Hey, everyone! March already has more unique visitors than all previous months! Tell your friends :) The TurtleTots are starting to proliferate, that’s good to see. Small changes coming up, and many bigger changes once I’m back in SD (with Sanam in Boston right now).

Finally added a family_tree page, accessible via any creature/view page. Also made numerous improvements to the look/feel of the purchase proposal and breeding proposal pages. For the time being, the beta password has been disabled.

Booyah! Notice the lack of :9090? Welcome to creaturebreeder’s new server! Things should be snappier (and will continue to improve). I moved all the data over; the entire history of creaturebreeder was about 135k.

After some consideration, I decided to remove the restrictions on incestual breeding – it’s probably best to let people make that decision for themselves.

More things being added every day. Framework for accessories is now in place, so there will now be more options for customizing your farm.

I’ve added a couple bits of functionality. First off, users can now buy and sell creatures. I’m hoping this will allow users to be more proactive in how they develop their farms.

I’ve also added a ‘new user’ page, restricted with a ‘beta-password’ field. I think its time to start growing the beta a bit more… and I don’t want to have to add all the users manually.

The winners of the events are now shown as being as old as they were when the event ended. Numerous other,little improvements to the event system, e.g it now tells you how many votes/entries you may make.
