Creature Breeder is a free, online breeding game where you can breed unique virtual pets, play with your friends, and design amazing farms!

Hi all,
On more than one occasion, people have complained that part of the site was cut off, or that they couldn’t see their entire farm. In most cases, these were folks running in 800×600 resolution. If you are experiencing something like this, try one of the following:1) Change your screen resolution.
2) Click the lil’ link at the bottom of the site, below the copyright statement. This will switch you to a stylesheet that is specifically designed for 800×600 resolution.
Thank you for your patience while we sort this all out, and ‘Welcome!’ to all the new users.

On a related note, if you’ve got a cool idea for a little accessory, post it to Choochoo’s farm.

Heyas,
Be sure to take a look at some of the new accessories that are now available. There are two new rocks (for those that want to make a rock garden), some purple flowers and a clover =). Also there is an expensive new stone wall (you may have to save up for this one).

Dear Farmers,
I’ve made some long overdue fixes that should GREATLY reduce the amount of flickering that you notice in the farm – especially when all your pets are running together toward a ball or food or something. Also, check out the new Stone Wall that choochoo made last night.
Take care,
Aemon

Your turtles will now show up a little bluish if they’re not feeling well. Also, breeding your creatures too much will make them sick (it’s tiring!).

As per Adam’s idea, your list of ‘Favorite Farms’ is now sorted by each user’s last-login-time, so you can get a quick idea of who has been active and who hasn’t.

Hey all,
I’ve been looking at our latest statistics and noticing that quite a few users are coming to the site with a Mac/Safari combination. I’ve looked over the site pretty extensively in Konqueror, a linux browser that happens to use the same html rendering engine (KHTML) as safari, and everything seems to be in order, but as I don’t own a Mac, I haven’t been able to directly test Safari.
If there are any friendly Mac users out there that are running both Firefox(the gold standard for us) & Safari, and you notice any disturbing ( or not so disturbing ) differences, please drop me an email! aemoncannon at gmail dot com
Thanks,
Aemon

Dear farmers,
You’ll notice a new addition to the ‘essentials’ category in the store. We’ve created a magical tree that bears Farm Bucks as it’s fruit. The tree cannot grow if the surrounding creatures are unhappy, so keep them healthy, and reap the rewards.Posted 19 years 1 month ago
