Dear farmers,

CreatureBreeder.com’s users are a good bunch :) and I’ve never felt the need to remark on netiquette (online politeness) before. However, we’ve had a lot of new users lately, and I know there are some behaviors that people find particularly frustrating ;) so I just wanted to post a few little reminders:

Please don’t spam other peoples farms. Don’t make more than one proposal at a time, and don’t post the same comment over and over and over.

Please don’t make purchase proposals for amounts of money that you don’t have.

Please respect your neighbors wishes; don’t offer or propose anything to anyone who’s already rejected you more than once.

Dear farmers,

I’ve noticed from our logs that most of you are using Internet Explorer to access CreatureBreeder.com. We try hard to make the site look good on all browsers, but IE doesn’t make it easy. Personally, I use Firefox. It’s free, built by volunteers, and a really great browser. Give it a try, you’ve nothing to lose! :)

It’s been brought to my attention that there ARE creatures older than Clayton :( However, I don’t think there are any older than Clayton who’ve been cared for so diligently :)

Dear Farmers,

Today is a special day. Sanam’s pet turtle, Clayton, is celebrating
his first birthday! Clayton is the oldest creature on creaturebreeder.com, and we’ve grown very fond of him :)

Dear farmers,
You may have noticed a brief outage today. We had to
take the site down to do some routine maintenance, and while
we were at it we made a couple lil’ updates. ChooChoo has
cooked us up a new accessory ( something soft for your eggs :) ),
and we’ve introduced a solution to the “creature dumping”
problem.

Dear Farmers,

Creaturebreeder.com is moving to new hardware!

Thank you all for your patience in the last few weeks (I know it’s been agonizing.) The transition should be completed in a couple days, and things should be a lot snappier around here. Although we are taking every pain to make the move as seamless as possible, there may very well be some hitches, so stay tuned (here or at the forum) for updates.
