Dear farmers,

I’m very sorry for the recent down-times. As we suspected the problem was at the DNS level, and I’ve been notified that our DNS provider has undergone heavy network attacks over the last week or so. Hopefully everything will be resolved soon.

Hey everyone. A lot of people have expressed curiosity about The Wild, the mysterious place your pets go when they are old and ‘retired’ from breeding ;) We thought it would be fun if could go out to the wild once in a while, and see some of your old friends :) so…. now you can ‘Visit the Wild’!

Dear farmers,

We just deployed an update to the site that will make everyone’s farms run a lot more smoothly, especially those of you with lots of accessories (I’m thinking of you shayshay93 ;) ).

You won’t see these improvements if you don’t have the latest Flash Player (version 8), so be sure to update if you’ve not already.

Dear Farmers,

You may have noticed some weird changes in the coloration of the birds. We’ve been experimenting with genes for yellow color, but have found that yellow mixes badly with some browns/blues and ends up looking green most of the time. Our solution is to make the yellow birds a special rarity(congrats if you have one!) and to reserve green as the color for a sick bird.
